I prefer big dogs, but it's a good thing that some people prefer little dogs or there would be an awful lot of homeless little ones. But if you go to the shelter there are always more large dogs...

I agree with Mollie, even if you're dead set on a full breed, our shelter has a lot of them too. Our only 2 full breeds came from the shelter...our Dane and our Aussie. We will probably never get...
Aren't dogs great...they will lay their lives down for you without even thinking about it. My vote is for our dog Tigger...he's a Husky/Pitbull mix.

I also vote for all dogs. My 3 favorite pure breeds (although I think Heinz57s are great too) are Austrailian Shepards, Great Danes, and Weimeraners.

I personally think that dogs understand better than humans. We have 2 dogs from the local shelter and they are both so loving. They love life. Shawna, the Aussie, was full grown when we got her and...
Forgive me, but it's been a long while since I've been here and it seems that I have missed a happy story. If I may be so bold, who is Dexter? I want in on the happy story too!!!
Hi all, it's been a long while since I've had time to check out the site. Since I've last posted, we packed up a house, moved, and inherited another puppy that was dumped in our neighbor's backyard...
Oh silverann, you're good! Just add one more hope and then BOOM dash them!! lol Ok I know, I'm getting carried away, but people who are willing to dump their animals make me nuts. I work for the...
