**GOOD News** - Home is on the Horizon!!

Sam continues to do pretty well, and is much more alert;
she plays and smiles a lot, and is getting back on a
regular schedule as far as sleeping, naps, etc.
Oh, and the return of the pseudomonas is no big deal;
it's just an overgrowth thing, like yeast, one of those things always present, so they won't treat it. Once Sam is completely healthy again, those things will be back in check.
We moved back to A6 South late Friday evening;
we are now in Rm. 47, and should be there for the duration.
The wagon rides continue, w/Sam always looking cool in her shades, and she had a blast visiting w/family yesterday. She's drinking a lot, and still into the orange Jello, but the vomiting continues as well...very frustrating. They tried to put the catheter in today for the kidney test, but she kept screaming and tensing up, so they'll have to try again under light sedation.
They are talking about discharge plans, and it
looks like we could be blowing this pop stand in August,
maybe within a couple weeks; she would probably go home w/her feeding tube and dialysis catheter, but having those aren't reasons to stay in the hospital, and they don't want her exposed to germs/infections any longer than necessary, so we'll see.
Thanks,
Jessica
