Why is gas in the US so expensive?
I think it's because they pay per gallon where as we pay per litre:)Quote:

Pffft....gas is CHEAP for all of you! :p $2.30 is a very normal price for unleaded gasoline here. I'm not sure of the current price, but I do remember prices going as high as $2.60 + some time back. Its like $2.20 - $2.30 these days...I think. Not positive though. We're lucky if the gas prices EVER go down to $1.something.
Oooh, that makes sense, thanks. :)Quote:

I have no idea. I know that prices are out of my control, so I never look. I pump gas with my eyes closed. :D There was a point where it cost $65 to fill up my truck, right now it's around $45, so I guess the prices must be ok.
Last time I drove by it said $1.87 for unleaded. It most likely went up higher since I last drove by (couple of days ago).
$1.67 - $1.75 for unleaded.
I'm planning on paying $1.69/gallon this morning when I fill up...ooops that reminds me...I'M LATE! Gotta run! :D
1.89 a gallon
In Pittsburgh, it ranges between $1.75 to $1.77 a gallon for 87 octane.
$1.75
1.39 a can
I love refried beans!!!;)
I just filled up my car yesterday, you'd think I would know. :o But I didn't even look. I know I got 89 lol....I'm going to say between $1.79-$1.99 per gallon...that's a guess...
$1.99 is the low in the San Francisco Bay Area for self-serve unleaded; although I did see a $1.92 this morning at an Arco station ...
Filled up my tank this morning with unleaded. It was $1.85.
Same time a week ago it was $1.60.
