Diane, our deepest sympathies to you and your mother on the loss of Brandy, as the others have said I'm sure Bourbon was waiting to show Brandy the way and I know she will be there with a little Schnauzer named Kona who will be the Grandma of the group.
I know Brandy didn't mean to bite you, her pain was to much to bear and she is now whole and at peace. Only time will help you to overcome your loss.

Well, we adopted Mina. They didn't mention that her back legs are shaky, from arthritis. But my mom loved her none the less. She's home and you'd think that she'd been there forever. I'm so glad they got together. If you'd like to see Mina, go to http://www.furryfriendsfoundation.com
go to Dogs and about two-thirds down the way, you'll see Mina with ADOPTED above her name. I'd guess Australian Shepherd.
Thanks for all your help.

I just took a look at Mina's picture. What a love she is. As a fellow suffer of arthritis, I'm so thankful for your mother and her decision to not let that stand in the way of giving a beautiful animal a home. There is lots of love in that animal's little heart even though her legs may be shaky. Thank both of you on behalf of shaky critters of all kinds.:)
