This is so cute! I didn't know kids still act as crossing guards - they don't around here anymore.
That is wonderful! Sable has a bit of a pouch, he heee, thought maybe spay sway except they all say "he!"
I was a Safety Patrol leader when in 6th grade, I had the line for grades 1 through 3, we had a bit over a mile walk, with kids leaving all along the route. This was only the afternoons, going home.
Around here crossing guards are always adults, maybe as we are a city? And in most of RI the crossing guards are paid!
Around here, at least in Newton where I lived for so long, the crossing guards were paid adults. Given the roads around here, that makes sense, they are often congested, and big roads for a child to attempt to manage!
