I have noticed that most tuxies have more black in them than white, but Fluff is about even with both colors...is she or isn't she? if she isn't, then what breed is she?

Tuxies in Australia (breed wise) need to have at least 50% of a darker colour so I think she is a Tuxie. What does it matter anyway she is a gorgeous kitty! :)
Actually, i thought a tuxedo marked cat had MOSTLY color (be it black or blue, etc) and only white chest (bib) and feet with the possibility of a bit of white on the face or belly. Hence the fact that they look like they are wearing a tuxedo. Fluffy is a beautiful, wonderful cat, but I doubt that I would call her a tux.
I'd call her a moo cow kitty. :)
Thanks for the nice comments about her...I think she is beautiful too..It doesn't matter to me if she is a tuxie or not, but I just wondered.... :)
To me, a tux kitty is ALL black on top, with white maybe on the face, a white "shirtfront (which may lead all the way to a white tummy, and white "spats" or feet. Tuxedo isn't a breed, by the way, just a color pattern.
Fluff's breed is probably "mixed" but I agree that her pattern is cow kitty!
(I grew up in a neighborhood with a grand dame polydactly tuxedo mama kitty, so most of the kitties in the neighborhood looked like her - their Mama, grandmam, etc.)
hee hee :) That's what I call them too. :) Cuties!Quote:

maybe we should change her name to Daisy...kind of a cow kitty name don't ya think?;)
:D
Fluffy is GORGEOUS! Is she as cuddly as she looks??
Ally looks like a little piebald pony - complete with a black "saddle" on her back!
She has a "tuxie" face, and 3 little black beauty spots on her nose!
Diamond had a kitten named Fluffy (Smokey the YOunger's sister) who was a moo cow kitty. She had a black back with a while circle in the middle. She almost was Bullseye; if she had been male she would have been.
She is a Moo Cow Kitty!!!! That is what I call them. Tuxies are like black cats in tuxedos....But, as you said, it makes no never mind...she is sweet and beautiful whatever she is!
