Hey all PA people! I need opinions!

Have any of you heard of the Tiger Ranch? A rescuer here in State College that is trying to retire due to age has had it suggested that she take a dozen or so of her cats to this place. I haven't ever heard of it and the websites don't provide an address or any information but a really nice mission statement. That is all well and good but Shirley wants way more information than that. Another TNR person here in State College has heard some negative things but I don't know what.

So I am wondering if anyone on here has dealt with them and what they are like. Thanks!

Denyce, I was a bit worried when I saw the website that made such grandiose claims, but didn't give any way to contact them by phone, mail, or e-mail. That seemed a bit strange. Anyway, I found a discussion about them on a different message board about a year ago, with mixed reviews. Most seemed to be complimentary. Some additional surfing led to a phone number:

Thank you very much. I too had concerns when I saw the Mission Statement page but with no information. I was hoping someone on this board from that area had previous dealings with the Tiger Ranch. Shirley has spent many years running a cat rescue from her home and she is very protective as to where these cats go. But the sad fact for State College is she needs to retire due to age related health concerns.

I took a look at this and will also pass along this information to Shirley. I think I have her convinced to make an impromptu visit and see what it is all about.

I JUST FOUND TIGER RANCH BY TYPING IT INTO TE SEARCH ENGINE.
I TOO THOUGHT IT WAS ODD THAT THEY AHD NO PHOTOS OF POTENTIAL ADOPTEES EITHER.
