ewww poop!!!!
After I came out of the shower, Kai greeted me with a BIG poop all over the rug (in the NEW house with the NEW carpet). This is the first time he's done this in about a month..I thought he was pretty much potty trained...How long did it take you guys to house train your dog/s?

If you just moved in, I'm sure Kai pooped indoors because he is is not familiar with his new surroundings or new poop spot. How long have you been settled in?
Try the methods you used when you first potty trained Kai. When you see he has to go, take him outside, say the word and then praise.
I think he may have onyl done this because he had his old poop spot with the old house and now he's a little confused on where to go.
I could be wrong of course ;)

That sounds right Primabella. Kito has gone in our new house a few times:rolleyes:
Just remind Kai that the place to go is outside, and give him a treat when he does go outside. Since he was already trained, he should catch right back on in no time.

With Leo it took several months and Patrick it was about 5months.

I and to re-houstrain Jake once. Another dog had an accident on the carpet and after that Jake thought he could go there too. I just had to start the crate training up again, and it didn't take long for him to stop. Good luck.
