New--from Ohio

Hi! I just found your forum today while searching for some information. Looks like a forum I would enjoy so I decided to join.

I am from Ohio and the mother of two DDs (ages 9 and 3). We have one Bichon Frise, Chloe, who is 4 1/2. She was my oldest DDs 5th birthday present so my oldest considers herself to be Chloe's "mom," but I am sure Chloe will tell you differently.

Chloe is currently recovering from having a lump surgically removed. The vet just called yesterday with good news that the lump was not cancerous. It is a linear something or other (he is sending me the results in the mail so I will have the official name in a couple days) which was caused by her vaccinations a year ago.

Looking forward to getting to know other members of this board.

Thank gosh Chloe's lump was not cancerous, I'm glad she is recovering well. :)

Hi Cheryl, welcome to PT! Thisplace is fun, and it CAN be addicting.

I just adopted a Bichon Frisé last month, she is 9 and what a lovey! Sugar was in rescue in Ohio and flew here to RI.

DD does stand for Darling (well sometimes) Daughters.

I am from Sandusky (home to Cedar Point).

I'm not quite sure if I am posting pictures correctly or not but I have attached a picture of Chloe taken at Christmas (she isn't as fluffy right now since I had her hair cut short for her surgery). I was trying to get a picture of Chloe with my DDs to put in my Christmas cards but as you can see Chloe was not too cooperative. I ended up having to leave Chloe out of the Christmas card picture this year.

Welcome to PT Cheryl! We're from Toledo, although I think I used to live in Sandusky part time in the summer!!! It wasn't a good summer without about 5 trips to Cedar Point!!
