I'm back...remember me!?
HELLO PET TALK!!!
Oh how much I've missed this website, good grief!!! Some of you on here may remember me and some of you may not. So much has changed since my avid pet talk days. I moved out of my parents house over a year ago. I lived on my own for a while then moved in with my boyfriend last August. I no longer have any rats, they've all passed away and I can't bring myself to adopt any more. I still have Peanut and Buster my adorable bunnies and I rescued a 3rd back in September. She's a female mini rex who I just call Baby Bunny (I really named her Nibbles)- not very original - hahaha. I got her when she was about 2 months old, she was doomed to be snake food at the tiny pet shop by my apartment, when I heard the store worker say that I couldn't leave her there!!
I'm in need of some pet talk therapy! I can't wait to catch up on what I've missed and start talking to old friends again!

Hi, I'm Sandie!
Looks like you've been 'away' a bit over 2 years. I wasn't a member of PT back then, so I don't remember you. Look forward to learning about you and your pets!

Hi Laura! I remember you!:)
Do you still go horseback riding a lot?
Do you have a horse of your own yet? How about a Yellow Lab?
Where are your cute kitties? Are they at your parents house?
It's nice to see you here again. :)

No, sadly I don't get to go horseback riding nearly as much as I used to. Finances don't allow for it, nor does my job that has me working every weekend allowing for no free time. Hopefully by winter we will have a puppy of some sort, our lease is up soon at the apartment and we're looking to move else where. Once we move and settle in to the new place we can start thinking about getting a K9 companion. Buying a horse won't happen any time soon. A while back I contemplated making a purchase on a nice 4 year old bay Arabian gelding, went to check him out at the barn and fell in love with him. Gorgeous, gorgeous boy - his barn name was Buckwheat, hehe. A lady down in Illinois ended up buying him for her daughter to start showing in halter class. I'm very glad I ended up not buying him, I'd be in a huge mess of trouble now seeing how money is tight. I don't get to work at the horse camp any more, I've been banned and was almost taken to court, since I shed the light on the horses not being properly taken care of.
Sammy and Dudley are my parent's kitties, I desperately tried talking mom & dad in to letting me have Sammy - that conversation didn't last more than 2 minutes! Sammy is chubbier than ever and Dudley is now 11 years old - but is more active and spunkier than Sam.

Of course I remember you, and your mom too. Welcome back! :)

I'm sorry to hear that you don't get to do much horseback riding anymore.
I remember how much you loved the camp horses, that's too bad that you won't be able to see them anymore.:(
That's great that you will be getting a puppy in the future.:)
Do you have any recent photos of Sammy and Dudley?
I'd love to see them if you do, I'm sure other Pet Talkers in Cat General will remember them and want to see their photos too.

Hey! I remember you from your other name. Since you've been gone, I lost my Duke :( I've adopted Dasher, the black lab you see in my sig pic. I'm sorry about your rats. Maybe when some time passes, you will feel better. When I was a kid, I had a bunny named Nibbles, also. I named him that because he chewed on everything! We'll look forward to catching up with you.
