New Cat Tree Questions
I've been looking online for a new cat tree for my kids and I'm looking for ones that are pretty strudy because some of the bigger cats like flying up and down the tree that we have now and I'd like to make sure a new cat tree will hold up.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Melissa

When I was looking at Cat Trees I gave the thing a good shake to see what the foundation is like, if the tree topples on thier first climb they will be afraid to go back on.
I would look on the computer , as places like Pets Mart and PetCo add a big markup.
Look in the ads in Cat Fancy and go right to the manufacturer.:cool:
We hope you get a good one,:cool:

5 Attachment(s)
You could build your own.Alittle ply wood, 2x4's paint and some scrap carpet.
Ours has 5 cubby holes, 4 on the bottom and 1 on top. I wrapped rope around the bottom of the 3 legs for scratches.

I would chose one that has 4 legs and a wide base. I made one for my livingroom and bought two for the cat room. I can climb on them to reach the top for cleaning.

:) Or you can go on E-Bay & buy them & you put them together when delivered.. Thats where I have gotten most all of mine.. But like John said they are easy to build yourself..

A friend and I made this one out of one of those spools that electric wire comes on that they throw away.
