Found a pup!
Found this sweet boy wandering the streets tonight, it's cold for Florida (Palm Harbor) and he was all sketched out. At first he wouldn't come to me, he was so nervous, and then I remembered the oatmeal cookie in my bag. Success!
I'm going to bring him into work tomorrow to scan him, but no collars or tags. He's staying at a friends because I didn't want to ruin my pack dynamics by bringing in another. He may have already found a home if we don't find his owners. They love him already.
He's young, tall pug/beagle mix. Knows his basic commands, neutered. It's a long shot, but if anyone recognizes him and knows where he belongs, let me know! :)

Thank goodness you found him, and had the oatmeal cookie at the ready! Yay for Kay the doggie rescuer!

Aw, he's a beagley Puggle! I'll take him! ;) Thanks for rescuing him, I hope you find who he belongs to quickly:D
-
Oh My! He's so cute and he deserves a good home. I'm so glad you found him.

Well, he has a chip, but the owner didn't answer. Left a message hoping for them to call back. His name is Lobo. Definitely not just "puggle" as he's got a very narrow longer snout, like a terrier would. Dr I work with expects him to be around 8-10months. Very sweet well mannered pup! He's spending the day at the office in case his owners show up or call. If not, he will be hanging out with my friend until we find his owners or they fall in love and she keeps him. ;)

Glad he'll have a home if his original owner doesn't answer! Bless you for taking care of him!

Well, Lobos human came and got him shortly after I had left work on Wednesday! They said she was beyond excited to have her pup back!
-
Yay! we love happy endings!

Glad to hear Lobo made it home!:)

His good taste pays off! Oatmeal cookies are always good bribes.

I'm glad he is reunited with his owner. I bet he's glad to be home. Hope he stays home. The next person who finds him might not be as conscientious about him as you were.

I can't help but to help when I find missing animals. I get incredibly anxious. All of the feelings I had when Kiara was missing come back to me. And it's so nice to be able to reunite them. Reunited an owner and her cat that had been missing for THREE YEARS. When she got the call she thought for sure it wasn't her cat, but it was!
