Just a reminder for anyone that might be interested............
This special is on tonight on the NatGeo Channel from 9-11 Eastern Time. It traces the evolution of dogs from wolves, and also addresses some consequences of selective breeding.
I think it should be very interesting. I know I'll be watching.
It is also on several other times - they repeat it - we have it set for the DVR to record at a later time, as we usually have other things to watch then.
Oh yeah!!! They repeat everything over and over. That's good tho, for people that can't see it or record it at the original time.Quote:

It was a good show & I enjoyed it very much. I've always loved dogs.:)
I cried near the end when showing a little bit of film on a dog rescuer's
work in California. He had noticed one dog, Red, wasn't feeling good and
decided to pick him up next day for a trip to the Vet. When he went back
for him, Red had died, alone in the weeds near a road.:(:(
I know - the end was sad - poor Red. I'm glad they only showed a shot of his feet tho, after he had passed. :(Quote:
