RIP Gunner
The morning of Monday May 8th this beautiful sweet boy passed away peacefully in his sleep.

He was just a little over 13 (his birthday was on Christmas). He had a bad couple of weeks and just couldn't get his body to recover no matter what the vet gave him.
He was a most amazing dog who loved to open his own presents (and boy did he do a good job!) and loved getting messages on the answering machine.
He leaves behind a mommy and daddy who loved him and a little fursister, but he also leaves behind a very confused big skin sister who is only 2:( She just can't figure out why Gunner won't come home. It's so sad.
Please keep this family in your thoughts as they deal with the loss of such a wonderful dog.
RIP Gunner....I'll miss those big paws and kisses of yours.

That is so sad. No matter how many years we have with them, it's never
long enough. :( Rest in Peace Gunner. Gunner's family will be my thoughts
and prayers.

So very sorry for your loss. Play well at the bridge dear Gunner. Look for my Sami, she's a sweetie.

Gunner was such a handsome dog! I am so sorry for Gunner's family, especially the 2 year old. Her little heart must be broken. :( I know how sad my granddaughter would be if we do not adopt Thor (our foster dog). She would be devastated as she was with the passing of our Shiloh.
My heart goes out to Gunner's family and friends. Hugs.

Anna, I didn't know that you had posted about Gunner. I'm so sorry I am just now seeing this. He was such a handsome boy. I felt so bad when you told me the news and my heart broke for that sweet little niece of yours. I hope the family is doing well and recovering a bit from their loss.
Rest In Peace, Gunner.
