We just love Tabbies at the Found Cat Hotel and you do looks a lot like Terrance , my newest Cat Friend.

We are so glad you have found your Furrever home after you outlived your previous loving owners, and we're glad you and Milo are friends now though he still misses his pal Piccolo who went to the Bridge too early. How nice that you can groom Milo every day now! Your Purrrson loves to have you settle down on his/her cap or chest each day, too. What a wonderful home you all share!

He is a beautiful cat but arent you scared of him getting hurt going outside? you lost one cat due to the fact he was hit by a car and this one gets beat up by the other cat-i dont understand the letting cats outside,sorry buy this is just me -i have two inside cats that i would be devestated if anything happnened to them-:(

Oh, what a lot of changes you've had to adapt to over your short lifetime, so much loss, so much uncertainty, never knowing just where and with whom you belonged. But finally you have found your forever home, and it couldn't be more idyllic!:cool:You and your mommy both had suffered recent loss. But with you added to the crew, everyone's smiling now, including your fur bro Milo...well, sort of!;) I'm sure Piccolo too is smiling down on all of your from the Rainbow Bridge, giving his nod of approval! How lucky your mommy is to have been unexpectedly blessed with a furkid as sweet and loving and cuddly as you, Obélix! You are everything a human could ever hope for in a furkid and more!!!

First, thank you so much for rescuing this cat from a sad situation that was not of his doing at all. I am so frustrated when I hear of the reasons people are dumping their loving furry family - I just don't get it. Most of us (if not all) are devastated when we lose our beloved kittycats to an illness or whatever takes them from us, so to willingly give them away, it boggles my mind. In any event, Obelix has a wonderful home with you now and he looks so much like my Angel Beyli - gorgeous. I have to agree with the previous poster about letting him outside though - many cats in Montreal have been hit by cars, mistreated (even poisoned) by nasty neighbors and maybe you are not aware, but because of the outrageous number of abandoned cats (statistics available on Montreal SPCA website) there is also the FIV/FELV issue, and you did mention that although he tries to make friends, he does get in fights. My cats do not go outside and I can assure you that they do not miss out on anything - and they will live a much healthier and longer life. We even had incidents of neighbors being fed up and catching cats with homes and releasing them far from where they live. The number of lost cats on petluck.ca is very sad. Please rethink your choice - I'm sure you love them and wouldn't want anything to happen to them now they both have such a great home.
