I've had Haggis, but not kidney pie! Definitely tea and scones, are in order!
French fries, Belgium waffles and some Italian ice.
Richard, thanks for opening up the bar. I just love the Olympics and I can hardly wait for the Opening Ceremonies to begin. Let's all hope for a wonderful series of events and that all goes well.
Richard, could you hold this place on the sofa in front of the tv for me - I'm going to get some tea and scones to enjoy while I watch the ceremonies. Can I get you anything?
I was going to let you sit on my lap, but I jump up and down way too much.;)
Yes, you can sit down and let me get you something. Scones and Earl Grey?
Done!
(The opening soccer games have been pretty good so far!)
Happy,
There you go, get all international on us!
Thanks and Done!
Karen,
Chai and blueberry or cherry scones?
DONE!
I love scones! Could I get cranberry/orange scones with iced tea (& some fortification in that tea, please!). :)
Ready for the 'lympics! :D

Funny scone story?
We used to do a breakfast every so often in our office. People would volunteer to bring stuff in and one rather 'frugal' gal always made scones.
Until I had a proper scone - this gal damaged my primary scone experience - I was under the impression that they were something like hardtack.
At the end of the meal people we'd package up the the leftovers and put them into the fridge.
Every two weeks the fridge would get cleaned out.
Those scones were just as pliable two weeks later as the day she brought them in!:eek:
Blueberry cake in the oven - okay, cake(s) as I went to make one for my brudder-in-law's 40th birthday party, and realized my 11x13 pans are all in storage, so one 9-inch square one, and a spare 4 inch shallow one are now baking! The whole place smells yummy! Anyone want some ... ?
Blueberry Cake sounds lovely - and possibly a spot of Earl Grey whilst we watch the Olympics on the telly?;)
Oh, good! Time to watch the Olympics! I'll make iced tea.
