Dad has passed

My dad passed away this morning, peacefully in hospital with my mom by his side. He's now free of his mental demons and the cancer that came from his lifetime of smoking. I'm sure he was met by my brother and sister who left 27 years ago.

I am so sorry for your loss, Gayle. I will light a candle in his memory tonight and say a prayer for him. At least he is now free of the pain and suffering that came with the Cancer, and he was able to pass with his beloved by his side. Gayle I am so sorry for your loss but you must feel some comfort knowing that your Dad is now out of pain and comfortable. You have had so much to deal with I don't know how you do it. Prayers will be offered for you too.

Thank you again all. Hard day for me today. My boss sent my mom flowers, totally made her day. Hoping things get easier from here on out.
