I have a four year old german shorthair that has sustained lung damage from inhaling something like a grass seed or a foxtail. The vet is recommending lung reduction surgery to remove the damaged part of her lung. Has anyone experienced this type of problem and if so, what was the outlook and the quality of life after the surgery.
