I picked up a copy of USA Today and it looks like it's going to be the Danica 200.....
I think I'll skip the race. I wonder if she was allowed to win the pole, just to get people to watch?

Richard, did you do a rain dance so the race will be rained out? If so, it's working!!! :D
I think NASCAR needs to change the design on their track dryers.......
Fuel cell, anyone?
Just because I am the luckiest man on the planet does not mean I have any pull with the 'gods of weather'.
The delay after the JPM crash was so long, I forgot to watch the end of the race......:(

LH,
You figure they can keep fighter aircraft from flaming up?
I wonder if they would mandate the location of the FC pickup, too?:p
Wouldn't the pickup have to be in the pickup?
From the looks of it that tank was just a diamond plate tank like you buy for farm equipment. SHould have been a bladder setup like is on the cars. That's not the first time the safety crew has taken a hit, just the most spectacular.
And....the obligatory bad humor from teh web:
How many Columbians does it take to stop a NASCAR race?
Only Juan.
I'll have to link the article later, but I just saw Ryan Newman is visiting Best Friends in Utah while they are out west this weekend. A camera crew is going along and it will be a story in the pre-race to help bring more awareness to animal rescue. Go Newman!
And other bad joke...what are the odds of htting a jet dryer on the track?
Juan in 42
Here's the link to the article:
