Apparently Newton's dad came home and found her. Her approximate birthdate was October 9, 1999.
Rest in peace, pretty girl.

Aww, do you know her human?
Sweet Newton. I am so sad for her pawpie; I saw this on his facebook page yesterday. Have fun at the Bridge, Miss Newton. I'm sure Phred has found you and introduced you to everyone by now.
Rest in peace, dearest Newman. I just re-read your COTD essay. What a character you are! You and Roggie (and Aunt Pam) have certainly had good times together. You are greatly loved, dear kitty, whole and healthy again at the Bridge, where you will welcome your dear Dad and Auntie HOME.. One Fine Day.
To Roggie and Aunt Pam, deepest sympathy, and may your precious memories help to bring you comfort. Love is eternal, and you and Newman are together always. God bless you all.

I didn't know her human, Karen. This was posted by someone on the FB PT group. Maybe she knows the person.
I can't say I know her human. We're friends on facebook. He used to live in the Chicago area but now lives up in Wisconsin. Since Newton was a Cat of the Day I thought it would be appropriate to share with PT that she had gone to the bridge. Thank you, Catty1 for starting this thread. I know her person loved her and will miss her very much.
(He's also a published author, by the way and the last name of the protagonist in his books is Newton.)
Miss Newtie, sweet blackie girl. Please let your daddy know you are okay. He was looking forward to your purr-thday   and your many fans were too. This news was a big shock.
A box of cuteness:

That is especially tragic to lose such a Dear Cat as Newton went far too soon.
Newton is such a Good Cat, and now having Wings of Silver and Gold, is now part of our Awesome Angel Army.
I know that she and all of Our Angels will dine and visit the World as well as visiting all our Pet Guardians.
We know that you will see Newton again in love.
One Fine Day:love:
