Blunkett -- who looks somewhat like a little lab (A1373574, just 8 months old, and 17 chunky pounds) can't get a break. Adopted from the shelter as a puppy, he found himself back in a cage just a couple of months later. Owner obviously never cared for him -- once they found out he had issues with his legs. Blunkett has an abnormal gait, mild neurological symptoms that make him wobble as he walks. Looks like a peg-leg pirate as he swings a leg out to the side and brings it back in. The condition may improve and it may not -- there is no telling. But, one thing is certain, this boy is very, very sweet.

He's been at the shelter since June 7th -- and is absolutely out of time!!! Blunkett has shared his kennel with many different dogs and done fine.
