Depressing is right. Even milk went up $.50 a gallon. Just trying to keep up in gas, milk and cat food is a real challenge these days.

Up for $4.25 for self-serve unleaded here in San Francisco. Cost me almost $40 to fill up my little commute-mobile - I remember when I could fill her up for less than $10
I just put $60 of gas in my Jeep and it filled the tank 3/4 the way up. I think that's the fullest it's been in about a year.
I got gas for $3.75 today. Unfortunately I'd just filled up yesterday for $3.82 in my town. Today it had gone up to $3.89 and there are actually stations selling it for $3.94. So even though it only took 3 gallons, I decided to go ahead and refill it up again.
I guess IŽll fill up while I can..... sooner or later weŽll be the same way....
for a gallon of milk we pay around 44 pesos... converted to 1dll = 10.8 (aprox)
We passed a gas station over the weekend and Diesel was $5.09/gal.
It is staying steady in the $4.00 range around here though. While I'm not happy about paying these prices....I don't have much of a choice if I want to get to work everyday. :(
I feel real bad for my boyfriend -- he has a duramax desiel 2500 HD GMC truck.. =\
WHY is gas so high? What's the point of this crap going on around here? =(
The point is...POLITICS
Gas prices here in Pittsburgh are on the verge of hitting the $4.00 mark in another day or so. Most stations are at the $3.97-$3.99 level now. I'm lucky in that I found a station at "only" $3.93! (for right now).
Monday June 2 (Japan is t'other side of the Date Line)
Gas has risen from 10 - 12 yen per litre. It's now $6.25 US per gallon.
They have to import ALL their fuel.
I wasn't quite down to half a tank but I decided to fill up again and I paid $4.16 per gallon. It took a little over $23 to fill my tank up. I'm just glad that I don't have a long commute, don't drive many far distances, and get good gas mileage.
I can't find the link to the really good web page about why gas prices are rising, but I did find this one that somewhat covers the basic subject.
