:) When your back starts going out from lifting all the pounds of litter for the boxss..
When you decide white fur really doesn't look all that bad on black clothing.
When you stand to watch TV or bring a dining room chair into the living room because the cat has "your" chair.
When you leave a bookshelf empty for the cat, then add a pillow.
When you really don't mind (too much) getting up a few times a night to run the faucet in the bathroom because the cat would rather drink there than from the bowl of constantly changed water on the floor.
When you open 4-5 different flavors of canned food in a day because, after all, tastes change, and somehow the flavors that were loved two days ago, and that you stocked up on, are no longer appealing.
When you realize you're now using two cupboards and a closet to store all the cat food cans, dry food and treats.
When you lie down on the edge of the bed because the cat is sprawled across the center.
You and your 19 lb tuxedo named Spike vies for the cool air that comes from a desk fan blowing on you at night. You settle for the excess air blow OVER him. Full of shedding cat hair!!!
You know you're a cat lover when:
Your home decorating scheme is for cats and about cats.....
Your family only buys you t-shirts with cats on them....:D
You pick up trash and think "gee my cat would love to use that as a toy"
you actually modify your household routine based on where the cat happens to be sleeping...
...no matter how uncomfortable you are, you don't make a move because you might wake up the cat who is sleeping while securely attached to your knee.
Your home has not been vacuumed in two weeks because everytime you get ready to vacuum, one of your kitties is asleep in the intended room.
I'm bumping up this old thread because my parents just moved, so my cat got a new dish (actually a hand-me-down from my mom). It's a little sauce dish from my childhood, from a set of dishes my mom no longer has. She specifically told me that she was giving me the dish so I could use it to feed my cat. So Cassie will have a new dish for "people" food and the upcoming holidays.
When you have a salad with meat , but you have the meat on the side for your Meow Buddies!!!:love::love:
