I also need prayers. I don't want to say why but please just keep me in your prayers. :(
Bless Your Heart!!!
Of course, I'll pray , without a specific request~~~There is no need to spell out a request~~~ my friend.
Hoping and Praying that that any crisis you are feeling will diminish.
I'm here for support for all that need it, too. PT prayers seem to be working for Duke, which is great!
I've never came to this thread before, so it kind of feels a little different. But can I request a prayer?
My great grandma who is now 92.. is in the hospital. For some reason everytime I ask my parents whats wrong with my grandma, my parents change the subject. Please can I request a prayer requst. It's eating me up inside and I feel like I can't do anything to help.

especially "Badly Needed Prayers" ( not those for me, but, for some one else)
I will certainly say a silent prayer for you and your 92 year old Grand Father. ( can you go and see him?)
catmandu~~~~
I will Pray that "The Angel of Death" does not consider a need for Michael or Princess. Death has visited you and yours too often already. Yes, I will pray that all goes well.

Never feel that a Prayer Request is "overloaded". I have thought of you and your family. And, I will surely Pray for Happier Times , Just over the Horizon!!!!!!
I think I will sleep well tonight!!!!
This family of Pet Talkers - prayers for all of you and your extended families who need prayers right now.
May all have peace and good health.
well I just got off the phone to my mom and they had left the drs office. Looks like around the first of November my dad is facing major back surgery with a large incision, rods and pins in his spine, and about 3-4 days in the hospital with a legnthy recovery time. He sees the dr again in 3 weeks to set up an appt.
My brother-in-law's nephew, Dave, was brutally beaten in August, and left for dead by a dumpster. He is still in a coma. Dave is 21 years old. He has just been moved from the ICU to a rehab center, and is listed in serious, but stable, condition. No idea why this happened, and of course, the reasons don't matter, do they?
Dave, and his family could use the special magic of PT.
Thanks,
Johanna
wow Jo- that's awful.Quote:

Our little community - how could we have so much suffering to share? But we do - and we also have much joy - new babies - new pets - and good outcomes on surgeries. I guess it is just "life".
It seems so little to say "prayers will be offered" - but lots of them will be offered and intently for each one.

I'll have the Prayer Pups mention your Dad to their Buddie Upstairs tonight at Prayer Tyme. ;)
Meanwhile, tell Dad we're ALL Praying for him.
{{{Hugs}}}
You know, Phred, that is exactly what I emailed Staci. It just seems as though there is a rush to surgery as the solution.
My brother went through a lot of pain a few years ago and the Dr. was all hot for surgery. In the end - he opted out on the surgery - and with care has been fine since.
I am all for a second opinion too.
Staci, we sure will keep your dad in our prayers. ;)
Dave & his family will also be in our prayers. I can't imagine how much pain this is causing his family.
 I hope they catch whoever did this horrendous thing and punish them severely.
Thanks for the prayers! They worked. :) ((HUGS)) to all and prayers from me on the way.
URGENT prayers for Star. She seems she is having trouble breathing.
My neighbor mentioned to me the other day he was "saving" a dalmation from going to the pound. He really doesn't want her but didn't want to see her go to the pound. He isn't the best dog owner but I suppose his intentions are good.
I mentioned this at work and my boss' aunt wants this dog.
Please pray that we can get this 5-6 month old dalmation out of the home she's in - I don't think she's being abused - just doesn't have time for her. And make the connections so that this dog can have a fabulous home with my boss' aunt.
Thanks
Star is okay now.
Need a little prayer nudge -
My husband is waiting (and waiting and waiting) to hear about a new job he interviewed for. It seems like it's a go, but somewhere along the line, "paperwork" has gotten bogged down because someone was off on vacation. He won't know for sure till that person moves things along. (the interviewers can't tell him yes or no till it's official) Could you please say a little prayer that 1) I develop alot more patience NOW :p and 2) we hear one way or the other soon. He's hoping it's yes, but it would be nice to know either way. Thanks, I'm praying for all of your requests, too!
I'll keep you in my Postive Thoughts and Prayers tonight, Cyber_Sibes!!! Praying that you find the patience , of course , and that all will come out in the Wash!!!
and, I'll pray too, for that Dalmation to have a warm and wonderful home soon!!!!!
Prayers for Donna that everthing works out ok.
I would like to ask for prayers for my feral cat, Momma Kitty. She has
an injury to one paw & I'm trying to get her into the humane trap for a
needed trip to the Vets. She is not cooperating at all. :( Better yet would
be if she didn't have to stressed at all & the limp would heal itself.
Thank you so much.Liz.
MANY prayers and good thoughts for everyone that needs them. We will continuosly be thinking of you! :)
Please, I need to request some prayers.
Like I've posted before, my grandpa REALLY needs prayers. He especially needs them now-he is doing very poorly...probably the worst he's ever been.
Also, can I please ask for prayers for my friend?
My friend just told me a few days ago that he is in the VERY early stages of a cancer. Please be thinking of him!
Thank you SO much everyone, for the prayers and the thoughts. My friends, family and I really appreciate your thinking of us. Thank you so much again! :)
Like I said, many prayers and good thoughts for everyone that needs them! :)
we've been homeless for a week now just because I fought what's right for my dog and going school full-time, half of quarter is over already. I want to but can't say much here, sorry.
prayers for everyone, still.
You are in my prayers!
my brother needs a liver transplant so I was happy to find this thread. he is also on kidney dialysis because of the liver problem. he is in the hospitol and will be there till he gets the liver, he is now at the top of the list. he could really use all the prayers possible.
KK, I hope your brother gets his transplant soon, and is free of the dialysis machine. For cyberside's husband - for Gina, MLD's granpa and friend.
For Donna, as she moves ahead in her life.
I ask a prayer for Joanne, a lady I know from church. She is tall, black-haired, vivacious, has a great job and terrific daughter - and her boyfriend, a wonderful community-builder, Yoga instructor, cyclist and bike shop owner was found dead beside his bike last Thursday.
He was going to be seeking help for a weird heart condition...but he collapsed. He was only 48 years old.
Prayers for Joanne and all who knew and loved Trevor. This is a huge, huge shock to many.
Thanks.
what a shock! what a terribe thing to have happen. prayers for her and for everyone on here that needs them.
details when I get my computer back up and running but this worked out and this beautiful pup went to a WONDERFUL home and has 3 other dalmation siblings! :)Quote:

Your Guardian Angel is wearing black and white spots today and is jumping up and down - flying around - telling everyone!! :D
Prayers going out for Joanne and Trevor's family & friends. I'm so sorry to hear he didn't get help for this sooner... The surgery my husband had recently was for this type of weird heart condition that puts them at risk of "sudden death" syndrome. Don't know if it's the same, but sounds similar. Trevor was far too young :( Rest in Peace, Trevor.Quote:

It was the kind of heart condition where one half beats too fast and the other part does 'nothing', if that makes any sense.
All went well today....the place was full - though an Anglican(Episcopalian) service, there were Gaelic elements, and several Buddhist rites.
I got to sing and play piano. Joanne had requested me - and I told my boss I was going to be there. No way I wasn't going to be.
Trevor was very loved - his brothers from down east were amazed to hear from others about Trevor, and what an impact he had on everyone.
They are having a memorial in Ontario next week for the parents, and the friends there. I hope the brothers' account of what they heard here will comfort the parents somewhat - that he was so loved!
Enough outta me - may everyone's prayers come true! :)
This seems so minuscule compared to other's prayer requests, but I would appreciate it if some of you could keep my sister in your prayers. My sister, Kati, leaves on Monday for a mission trip to Honduras.
Thank you.
