Please keep my hubby, JoJoe in your prayers. He goes in tomorrow at 7:30 am for the next round of tests for his heart problems. Let's hope this procedure is easier on him than the last one, and that there are no complications. Thank you so much.

My grandmother is expected to pass within the next few minutes to couple hours. Can we please pray that it is as peaceful as possible? :(

Prayers for my friend Irene...she has waited and waited for surgery, has dealt with doctors who have finally started to communicate with each other (heart, vascular, GP) - has gone through another painful angiogram...her seventh in the last year at least...
Please pray for strength to be given her, and that she will have her surgery at last, and can begin to recover instead of getting worse and worse.
Thank you.
Catty1,
Dorothy39 here~~~~ And YES , I will keep your friend , Irene, in my thoughts and prayers for proper communication as well as for her Strength to Endure . I pray that she will receive the attention due her and that any surgery done will result in her road to recovery!!!!!!!!!!!
Bless You Catty1!!!!!
Please pray for me and my family as well!!!
A wonderful cousin of mine has been battling Pulmonary Fibrosis for the past three years. He was advised by his Doctor to have additional testing done in July because he was still experiencing shortness of breath. His test results confirmed not only Pulmonary Fibrosis over taking one lung, but, Cancer in the other that has spread to his liver as well as his bones.
He is 12 years older then me and I have ALWAYS looked up to him !!!
I have visited him while he is in the hospital, knowing full well that his days are now numbered. I have been with him and his family for the last few days, ( sort of feeling numb right now) and yes, I am crying as well!!! :(
He is still the same Wonderful "Bob" that I grew up loving, (We even laughed today!!!) :D :( He is on Oxygen now, and morphine~~~~~~~ :(
I am so grief stricken and in Need of Pet Talk{{{ Hugs}}}} now, to help me get through this moment of transition in my life!!!
Dorothy - PRAYERS and HUGS to you...what a sweet blessing to be able to laugh with your dear dear friend!
I wish Bob peace, and mostly - love and laughter.
He is in my prayers, as are you and his family.
Thank-You , Catty1, for reading my plight and responding,
Your sincere warmth and prayers have been received!!!!
You are such a thoughtful person!!!!! God Bless You!!!!! ( sniff, sniff)
I have never responded to this thread and rarely visit it. It's bad, I know and I'm ashamed of myself. :o However, I just got home from work and something told me to open it up right away. I've just read Dorothy's post and somehow it seems way to close to home. Dorothy, I don't know what to say except to send out all my prayers to you, Bob and the family. Big {{{hugs}}} to you sweetie.
Catty, your post touched my heartstrings because I had an uncle that went through the same thing. He finally did have his surgery and made a complete recovery. He passed of old age about 10 years later. I pray that she will come out on the winning end very soon. Big {{{hugs}}} to you too.
...and to the rest of you, I'm deeply sorry that I have not responded to all of you. Please know that each and every one of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Forgive me as well. Sometimes, admittingly, shamefully, I get self absorbed with me, myself and I.
And my problems are nothing compared with others. The PT family is so dear to me that when I read sad things about them and their friends and family, it breaks my heart. So if I don't reply either, it's because I can't find adequate words to respond, from worry and shock, but please know that before I lay my head on the pillow at night, I pray in my own way for all of you and yours. I have a problem understanding why such sad/bad things happen to such good people. It boggles my mind.
Dorothy, I'm so sorry to hear about your dear friend Bob. He must have enjoyed your visit tremendously, as I'm sure you bring the same warmth & compassion in person that you send to us on PT.
And Catty1, I will keep your friend Irene in mind, I hope she starts to feel better soon.
You can trust in me to PRAY for you and your family!!!!
I sincerely pray that God will " show " all of you your inner strengths~ and will lead you in the direction that offers " Home "and "Harmony!!!!!"
Blessing You during this moment of discouragment!!!!! :(
Thank you!!
I am proud to say all is well, thanks so much for the prayers. :)
Hope Everyone is well! And the PT prayers are working!!! :D
What i want to keep in my prayers at the moment for what i am suffering from is my grandpa who is about to pass away soon this year. He is still doing great just make me so sad when i talk to him he cries and he tell me "Alma yo no quiero morid horita no." which means "Alma i don't want to die, not yet." it made me so sad for him to say that to me and made me cry so much. Like i am right now since i have been pming with a GREAT friend that is also in the same situation as me she lost a loved one also and i want to have her and her family in my prayers and know that i am thinking about them as well as my family with the tragedy that is going through.
Please Prayers of my aunt.
I would like to have EVERYONE pray for Kaira, (Kay's girl) that she is safe, and that she comes home as soon as possible. I can't even imagine what must be going through Kay's head, and what she is feeling. All my love and prayers go out to Kay, and Kiara. :( :(
I will continue to Hope and Pray that Kiara is found soon!!!!!
I agree i hope Kiara will be back home in Kay's arms in no time. Kay and Ki and the crew and Kay's family will be n my prayers hoping that Kiara will be back soon.
please say a prayer for my dad - he is having a lot of back pain and his legs are going numb and its difficult for him to walk but he won't stop "going".
Thanks
Bless your heart - this is way more than the average bear can handle!
I know that all of us will continue to have you and your husband in our prayers.
I am not sure what is happening to the medical profession - as it now seems worldwide.
We have become people known by their number..............let's just hope they use the right number when you get your husband's test results back.
This is small compared to lots of others I see here. Please pray for Duke. Within just yesterday and today, he's stumbling and falling. It's his bad hip. He doesn't seem to have pain, which is good. I've been crying for the past hour, since I git home. I've sat in the floor with him and cried in his fur. I'm too upset to call the vet. Will call when I wake up and take him tomorrow. I can't even bear the thought of losing him. His mind is still active and he still likes to play. What am I going to do? :(
please pray for my aunt again she is back in the hospitail for the 3rd time in a three or four weeks. She is in because she stopped taking her meds it is going to take months to get her back on track. She is no with it.She has bi-polar.
Praying for all! :)
You all are in my thoughts and prayers...will think of you throughout the day tomorrow, too!
I'm praying for everyone's requests, may God grant you your highest good in all these situations. Please keep my husband in your prayers, his surgery is on Friday morning.
I will continue to click onto "Prayer Requests"~~~~~
I've said a "Heart Felt" Prayer for everyone again this morning.
Never underestimate the Power of Prayer.
Will be keeping you all in my prayers this morning.
Prayers and good thoughts for everyone that needs them...may God be with you in all of your times of need.
Please keep my grandfather in your thoughts. As many of you know, my grandmother passed away in October of last year as of cancer, and that made my grandfather very depressed. As of only a few days ago, he has a hospital bed in his living room...and is really going downhill. He fell out of his bed the other morning trying to get up...and cut his elbow wide open. :( All I ask is to keep him in your thoughts and prayers..things are NOT going good at all for him right now. I saw him lastnight, that's the best he's seemed to act in a while...except that he has lost alot of weight and is really skinny now. Thank you all so much for keeping us all in your prayers. You have such kind souls!!
I am frequently thinking of everyone...and praying that everything turns out ok! Many more prayers to come your way.
A prayer has been said for your Grandfather. It is so painful to watch those you love decline.
For Sean Casey, he died a year ago. Today we are having a memorial at the school today at 7pm. He died this same day while riding his bike. A Drunk driver hitting him while the stop light was on red. Also Sean Casey was a VERY good friend of mine.
Mustlovedogs:
I will keep your Grandfather in my Prayers!!!! Your request humbles me!!!
almita: Please know that so many members registered on Pet Talk understand your agony too.
I am holding you in my thoughts and Prayers!!!!
Thank you so much, gini and Dorothy39. My family and I REALLY appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
Many thoughts and prayers for you, Almita. :)
I'm keeping everyone's prayer requests in mind. I know there is a perfect answer to each one. Please keep us in mind, too, about a personal situation.
Prayers and Postive Thoughts ~~~ I Prayer that everyone feels a Peaceful Blessing Today!!!!
after a very painful last week - my mom took my dad to the ER and they gave him a muscle relaxer and he felt almost instantly better. They think its his sciatic nerve. My mom and grandma have both had this it is quite common. But my mom never thought of it with him he has had so many back and spine problems in his life including back surgery (he rolled a semi in a ditch back in the late 70's) that we just assumed it was his spine.Quote:

he still is seeing a pain specialist on Friday and had an MRI yesterday so we'll see what happens then.
Thanks.
OHHH, I feel so sorry for your Father. Back Pain can surface in so many different areas of the body.
I've had a bout with Sciatica myself, ( plus a herniated disc) :(
I'll pray that your Father doesn't over do it while feeling better on the medication!!!! So sorry too, that he has had to go through the dreaded fear, Back Surgery!!!!!! I'm so happy that the muscle relaxers help him!!!!
Prayers and Postive Thoughts for HIM!!!!!! {{{HUGS}}}} for YOU!!!!!
well hopefully he won't have to have surgery again - he had it back in the 70's
during the Blizzard of '78 actually! :)
