Hey all! I got home around 9 p.m. The dogs are fed and are snoozing happily. :) I took a lot of photos, but my parents have dial up and so I won't be able to upload them until Tues. :o
I'm really glad I was able to go and see you all. Those that couldn't make it were most definitely missed.
I'm really proud of Kia for being a very good girl. Chipper.... oiy.... That boy thinks he's Casanova.... *sighs*
GoldenLuvr, it was very nice to meet you. Hope Kody is doing okay. :)

Kia did excellent today!!! I was so proud of her too. :) She even wanted to play with that one dog.

It was nice to meet you all and we had a good time :D (well, minus the last 15 minutes).
Kody is doing well. Luckily the wounds are all puncture wounds and not rips/tears. I found a few more puncture wounds on his jowls once I got him home- They went clear through to the inside, and they were actually what was doing alot of the bleeding. He's drank a couple times and they unclotted, but I kept pressure on it with the towel and last time he didn't start bleeding again. I got his antibiotic and gave him his first dose- who knows if the other dog was up-to-date on shots so I'd rather be safe than sorry. Just gotta check the wounds out a few times a day and put hydrogen peroxide on any of them that aren't on the inside of his mouth (basically just the outside of his jowls on one side). He doesn't seem sore or upset. Kody is always happy-go-lucky no matter what. I honestly think it hurt me more than it hurt him. I *really* wish I had got some info on that guy or a license plate or something before he bolted. I still can't believe that all happened. I am in overprotective mom mode. I'm watching Kody like a hawk and babying him-trying to prevent him from knocking the clots off again. Poor babe!
BUT apart from that, we had a great time! Loved seeing all the different breeds out there (and the TONS of goldens) ;)

good to hear!
that guy has been there a few times that I have been there its not his dog- its a girl that rents from him - he brings him out for her. I think he comes pretty regularly so I'm sure if Monica or you go out often enough he'll be there. He's the one that told me he saw a pit bull climb the fence and take down another dog out there. Which I didn't buy that story at all. I *think* he might have been a teacher at Findlay somewhere.

I made it home a little around 8....after stopping by mom and dads to pick up to Potato Salad and a stop to pick up dinner. Of course, I had to catch up on the race.....Way to go Tony!!
What a fun day! Spot hasn't run that much in a while (and he is now hobbling around to show for it!) and Sadie did a lot more barking then usual, but I think after awhile Kody grew on her :)
Great pictures everyone. I should get to bed...got an early morning run with a friend, but I will get my pictures uploaded and shared tomorrow.

Yeah, Kody certainly liked her. He doesn't usually do that (pay attention to only 1 dog). Usually he's so scatter brained he doesn't have a whole lot of interest in anyone, just runs with one group, then runs with another that comes close like a crazy. He usually jumps/on the tables a lot more too (and I'm always quick to say Down!). You must have a special girl to keep his attention for that long ;-) He usually has the attention span of a 2 year old. Lol. Don't worry though, I've already had the birds and the bees talk with Kody. No "dating" till he's 30 or when mommy says its ok (which won't be for at least another year).

That's funny :)
I was telling my husband about Sadie holding the interest of a much younger man (she will be 10 in Oct.) He looked at her and said "Whelping box robber!"
