I''d be happier than a pig eatin' poop, if the President gave me a $900 per month pay raise. But of course if that ever happened, then Medicare would go up to $895 per month!

A 'funny' set of news reports today.
One politician telling the other to eff off......As if they did it politely?
I guess he forgot he was dealing with politicians.
------------
Chris Christie complaining about the hurricane Sandy relief and how he was promised help from the fed government - I guess he forgot he was dealing with politicians.
--------
And CBS closed the evening news with a story about a man who had spent 18k given to him by FEMA to fix his house.
He was in danger of losing the home because he ran out of money....but, right after the storm he spoke to the pres and CC and they promised him help to get back on his feet....
I guess he forgot he was dealing with politicians?
Congratulations to Congress.
That can is getting pretty scuffed and dented about now.....

H.J.Res. 15: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.
THe number of bills proposed that actually get anywhere is a tiny fraction of the total introduced.
Being that there's no groundswell for a Constitutional amendment to repeal term limitations, rather there is a large opinion in favor of term limitations on more offices, this dog ain't getting off the porch.
Kill this damned boondoggle:

And the LCS.
Boeing had displayed a semi-stealthy version of the F-15 2-3 years ago. Buy it, it fills the need without busting the budget.
LCS? Korea can build frigates with actual warfighting capability for 1/3 of the price of the precious LCS. Why can we somehow not figure it out?
Things you don't hear about on the Nightly News. I read a story about this problem last week & then they were saying it was only
one leak, now they say it's six. This is so near the Columbia river. Oh, those in charge say not to worry. Right.

Hanford has been a problem site for a long time. Successive Congresses, however, haven't voted fund to fix the issues, and continual punting on Yucca mountain just make things worse.
Why the heck do spammers think I'd open any email that claims "Congress passed a new bill to ...." when they can't even get their act together with sequester looming?
I think our Congress is one big joke and not a funny one. They just got back from a break and will be gone again Friday. HELLO!!!! Keep your bums in your chairs until you get something done to fix the sequester mess you have coming down on OUR heads!!!
I really find it surprising how much time & attention Media is giving to the election of a new Pope by the Catholic church. Are non Catholics really
that interested in Catholic Politics? and it is Political.
