I know all about chronic pain. And I read a lot of books that were written by doctors with chronic pain so it helps. But if you ever need me...please PM me.I'm finally on the right road after seeing a pain specialist.(An intelligent one). He's a neorologist.
What I've gone through is horrible until you find the right doctor for what you need.
I'm here if you need me for support.Anytime.

I am praying for everyone who has asked for them.
Please keep your prayers coming for me. I have not been doing well this week and feel so miserable, defeated, lost, frightened and scared.
I also feel I am losing faith in prayers. I know that is a bad thing, but I have been praying every day, several times a day since this has started and I see nothing good coming from it.
I know I shouldn't give up, but I am so tired. Just completely drained. Emotionally and physically.
You are in my thoughts and prayers every day Robin. I know that for me it has helped to just pray for peace and acceptance, rather than pray for something specific to happen. It can be a little scary doing that too, because you crave things to be the way you long for them to be so much, and by not praying specifically for it you feel you may be giving up on it, but for me I've found a strange peace in simply praying for inner peace and strength, no matter what else happens. I hope that makes sense. {{hugs}}
You've been on my mind a lot, Robin. My first marriage broke up after 20 years, I know how devasting it can feel. I have found that prayer is a wonderful tool for transformation - it doesn't always change the circumstances, but it always changes me. I'm praying for the best and highest good for all concerned. (((hugs)))
Brian has stopped eating and drinking. He doesn't want to live like he's living. I haven't talked to him in a month and our last conversation wasn't a good one. He wasn't wanting anyone to call him but I never dreamed that would include me. In the phone call before that, he told me that it was no way to live. It must be hard having your mind normal and not being able to move or do anything for yourself. It's been a very sad year. I hate that this has happened to him. He's much too sweet a man to have to leave the world this way. I'm so glad I got to see him in October. I just wish he wasn't isolating himself like this and that I weren't so far away. If I were there, that might have made a big difference.
Everyone here is in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm keeping everyone in my Prayers~ Holding everyone in my Thoughts~
Holding everyone in prayers. Christmas is a time of miracles.
I haven't really kept up with this thread lately as I've been going through my own problems, but I want to let you all know that I'm keeping you in my prayers.
I'm not usually one to ask for prayers, but if you can spare some, Nakita really needs some good health news.
You can read more here, latest update is on page 4, post #62.
Nakita's Health Update
Thanks guys. :(
Thanks to everyone who kept isabelle in your prayers. :) Isabelle's surgery went great. But the test results are back, and the cancer has spread.
So please, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, she really needs them now. :( :(
Debated but the more people praying the more it could help. My dad is currently under going testing for possible leukemia. Long story but he nearly died from a gall stone which lead to all manner of blood tests. He is going in on the 10th to have his gallbladder out and they will be doing a liver biopsy at the same time to determine any possible permanent damage due to his gallbladder incident. so pray all his test come out good(not positive since that's bad in medical terms:) ) and that his surgery goes smoothly.
I am a *firm" believer in "Christmas Miracles "everyone, and My Praying Never Stops for all of YOU!!!
To everyone above me~ I hear your requests, and I Swear, I will Pray and Hold Each and Everyone of You in my Postive Thoughts!!
Me too Dorothy. Christmas miracles do happen and "I believe". Prayers going out to all of you.
I wonder, where is Robin?? I hope she is OK because Christmas can be a very sad time of year. I'm going to call Randi tomorrow. She must be missing John (Jonza) more than ever now.
I'm here, Slick and you are right Christmas has been a very hard and sad time for me.
I don't think there will be any Christmas Miracles or prayers helping me out this year.
Maybe the miracle is that you are with us for this Christmas, and chances are great that next Christmas won't be so low for you. I can't imagine the depths of your pain, Robin. I can imagine that times will improve for you, somehow. Time, as ugly as it can be, marches on for all of us. Just get through the day. :(Quote:

Yes, Let us join hands and Say some Heartfelt Prayers for our Lori Jordan~
Lots and lots of prayers going out for everyone's requests.
Robin, I wish you PEACE. I know it seems like a nightmare that is never going to end, but life will get better. Don't give up before the miracle, it truly is darkest just before the dawn. :)
I just read the threads for Cori & Brynn, and for Lori Jordan, and pray they are home with their families soon.
I'll say a New Year prayer. I'm sorry that you had a difficult Christmas.Quote:

2) quick update on my dad (78 years old, had heart bypass surgery Oct 24th - see #449) - he has more energy, and his cholesterol and blood pressure are good! He and my mom are going to visit my cousins in California in February. They live near a beautifully landscaped golf course. Dad's goal is to walk on the path that runs alongside the greens.
I have praises too- Tuesday, the worst case scenerio happened, and I ended up in the emergency room, and transfered to my doctors hospital. I ended up with and emergency surgery- going into it in critical condition. I came home today- as I am off the iv drugs, and have someone with me to help me, but mostly to sleep ( who can sleep in hospital mechanical beds? lol- ouch no laughing..) I am NOW DONE!
(((hugs)))
Pray for Rusty please, he had a bump on his leg that looked like a tick (it was raised and such) and we tried getting it off and it keep bleeding and bleeding. Hes wrapped up with a ace bandage right now. :(
I would not compress it with a ace bandage- if its draining it needs to drain. Wrap it in gauze and watch how much it is bleeding and look for pus. You can put a little neosporan but really- the leg should be checked. I bet its a hair tag if its on the leg. What happens is that they get a rub like a scrap on the leg or paw- this folds over as the skin grows under it. We would slough the dead skin but we take showers daily etc- they do not.. Hottie has two on his leg- and they look like a tick too.. Attaching a photo.Quote:

Mom fell again. Did about the same ting as last year, to the opposite shoulder, plus broke a bone in her foot. That and Dasher's behavior to deal with. I'd had enough last year. Today was the first day of my vacation. I'd rather be at work.
I have a co-worker whose father was enrolled in hospice yesterday due to worsening cancer.
Oh dear cassiesmom- I will put this in prayer. !Quote:
