From what I have learned from Magoo, I am not surprised at anything these blind ones can do...... I think.... She sure is one big girl, LOOK at all that fur you can bury your nose in!! I just love her colors!

She's so beautiful, and I'm glad one more PTer has a special needs sweetheart. ;) :D Now if only more would open their hearts and homes to these amazing and needy loves.....then maybe I wouldn't have so many lol! Please give that lovely girl some kisses for me. ;)

From meeting Magoo, watching him - and listening to Lisa's stories ...I am convinced that these blind kitties really have no idea that they are missing anything:D Just watch Magoo watching the squirrels! I think their smell and ears make up the difference and they enjoy the same things. I know they DO need extra care as far as not moving things, many things I am not aware of. But the result is a very happy cat!!
Abby is just precious playing with her toy!!

It is amazing isn't it? At first it never occured to me to "play" with Magoo but now it is a daily routine. It is not only amazing to see what they can do but it is so rewarding and fun to have that one on one time with them. Great bonding time as well as a real "eye opener" (bad pun!) for us sighted people. The very capable handicapped can sure teach us a lot.
Abby is GORGEOUS! Her colors are so pretty and she really looks like a sweetheart! Have fun Kim!
Have you tried any introductions yet?

Oh yes, I forgot to mention  Abby is very brave ... venture out of my bedroom now ... down the hall and into the living room! She has met Grace, Amber, Tabitha, Ginger, and Redfurd .... few hisses, but nothing bad. She is really getting comfortable!:D

I have come to the conclusion that blind cats are fearless! I think it's because they have no idea what they are about to run up against so they just go for it. I, however, would be hiding in a corner until I knew what was out there!!!
Glad to hear intros are going good so far!:D

Way to go Abby! :) I am so happy for you!
-
Abby, go and fight that long-legged monster:) Your meowmie will feel so much safer;)

Your right Kim, Abby is a blessing as well as Magoo, Gracie and Gabriel and I know there are a few others here on PT that have sightless kitties.
It amazes me everyday to watch my two and just how fearless they are and how they maneuver around things.....especially in our house right now.
Please give Abby a great big kiss for me.
