hiccups
Our new puppy, Luke (Golden Retriever), gets hiccups pretty frequently. He eats well (transitioning from Blue to Hund n Flocken food) and drinks water normally (which is to say he also uses the water bowl as a wading pool sometimes...). He's 3 1/2 months old now, and he's been getting the hiccups pretty much since we got him.
Any ideas about how to stop them? Or just ignore?

A lot of puppies get hiccups...I'm not sure why. I remember asking this question on here when Nebo was a puppy, he had them all the time. It's nothing to worry about though, he'll stop when gets older.

Hello Jakesmom! It's normal for a puppy to get the hiccups. As the puppy gets older they will be a lot less frequent. My babies used to get them all the time, when they were younger, but now they rarely do. It's nothing to worry about.

Yeah, Tanner had em too. It was funny though. he liked them! Right now he was an eight pound Yorkie, (Big Boy) but when he was little he was so light that he'd jump into the air every time he hiccuped. He would wag his tail and run up to you so cute if you cheered. I miss puppy Tanner!
