My three new hens. *new pics Post #8*

Today I went and picked up 3 new hens. I a trying to increase my egg production. They are Auracauna mixed breeds. Real sweeties too!

They are beautiful! I love the colors of all three. With any luck i'll be bringing home a frizzle turken soon. lol All I know is that he/she is injured and very skinny.

ooo....good luck!! I sure hope you can help this one, like the last one. My son wants to get a turken, he loves them! Maybe Next year!:D

They're gorgeous! Aren't Auracaunas the ones that lay greenish eggs? Will these three lay greenish eggs too?

Yes, Auracanas lay the green eggs. Not sure which color these will lay, it all depens on if the Rooster was the Auracana, as supposedly the Males have the dominant genes. Will have to wait and see in about another month. :)

Yay!! That's really neat. I miss my two hens, they were a lot of fun.

They are all very pretty:D
