Missing Casey - Photos

I don't sit around and dwell on the fact that Casey is gone and that I miss her, but sometimes she just pops in my mind and I get sad. I really miss having a dog around.

One of my all time favorite pics of her with her head through the cat door.

After I shed a few tears this morning, these photos put a smile on my face.

Casey looks SO sweet in these photos - no wonder you miss her. :( Like Karen says, I hope she will take a few breaks and send you some tail wags to let you know she is OK "up there". :love:

This also brought tears to my eyes. But I know how you feel. I sometimes just think about my Taz or any of the dogs that have gone to the bridge and get tears. And that's okay.

Casey sure looks a lot like my brothers dog, Boo, that is also at the Rainbow Bridge now. So I'm sure they are great friends and are having a blast together.

Those pictures made me say "OMG" outloud :) She is so beautiful! I can imagine how much you miss her!

Tail thumps! OMG....that is what I really miss! Cats just do not wag their tails like dogs do. :D

That is one of the most awesome things that God gave to dogs, the ability to show their humans how happy they are to see them with their wagging tails.

Certainly cats have their own charms & we love them very much, but
Dogs are special in a different way. I still miss my Buddy, and it's been seven
years since he left for Rainbow Bridge. I'm sure they remember us too.:)

I believe the pet door picture happened one day when she would not stop barking at me. About the last year of her life she lost her hearing and she would sit and bark at me for no apparent reason. The vet said it could be dementia. I closed her out the of computer room while I was working because she would not stop barking. I had no idea she would stick her head through the door. When she did, I just busted out laughing and laughing. The picture doesn't do it justice. It was just sooooooo funny! She was always making me laugh about something.

Play hard at the Bridge, sweetie. Take a few minutes to enter the dreams of your beloved owner and let her hold you and see you one more time to let he know you're okay.

I know exactly what you mean.. my house feels sooo empty with no dog in it and now we don't have Fifi even at a great distance there is a hole in my heart! I am sure we will meet them again one day and in the meantime maybe Casey could show Fifi around up there. She is cute and will enjoy playing I know.
