In Hawaii, I got to feed the Giant Macaw grapes and macadamia nuts in their shells.

Love to hear about your birds. Tell us about their personalities. Do some birds get along better with other particular birds?
I remember going to a bird 'house' for a lack of a better word, in Hawaii. They had a giant Hyacinth macaw, named Blueberry.
And they had many baby parrots, with food all over their faces as they were learning to eat, and talk!

Hello, I'd just like to say that your birds are beautiful!

I have read The Silmarillion, and actually liked it a lot. What a nerd I am!! I read somewhere that reading The Silmarillion is like reading the Old Testament ... true! Start with the Unfinished Tales ... they are kind of the middle ground between LOTR and The Silmarillion. Yes, I loved the movies too! Better than I ever hoped they be.

And yes, I am Maltese, born and raised here!! I agree with you Malta is indeed nice with lots of history for the small size, but living here is sometimes too crammed.....you need to stretch out sometimes ;o)
