I know, this isn't dog related but i wanted to know what you all think of what i made for my momma....

If you all didn't know.. my mom LOVES turtle and collect little turtle knick knacks.... im going to get this framed and give it to her for mother's day.. what do you all think?

That is really nice and sweet. I remember i made my mom this duck plate and two big fat mice when i took this pottery class years ago.. I think i was about 14 or so.. She cried when i gave it to her... The duck got broken on a move but is fixed up and the mice sit on her tv hehehe

I think your Mom will really like your present. I think
the gifts that come direct from the heart with a person
in mind mean so much. Moms are like that Kay Ann ...
Oh, did you use oils or water colors ?, I think it's Great.

KayAnn, that is so special. It's absolutely beautiful and it's SO professional looking! You have tons of talent, but I know you know that already! My mom always loved when I drew and painted pictures for her, but I was not as good at it as you are. I bet your mom is really proud of you and your talents. I know I would be.

That's so cute, KayAnn! I know your Mom will love it! Did you do that in acrylics? I have given a few paintings to family members as presents. I gave my brother a watercolor of Switzerland (he lived there for 2 years) for x-mas...he really liked it (although I personally hate how the pic turned out, maybe I'll do a new one). Gave my Dad an elk painting for his birthday last year too. Sometimes homemade presents are the best ones! I just made these print/stamp rustic type pics of a moose, bear and wolf for our bathroom...I guess it wasn't really a gift, but they look cool in there. ;D

Yup..... You know what.. i look up to you.. i hope to be as good in painting/ art one day like you are...

Im still talking to my mom about having you draw a poic of Simba for us... we dont have that much spare ,oney so well have to see... hopefully we can get one done.. your artwork is awesome.;)
