Refinance a house?

How long does it take to refinance a house? I am only a teen so I wouldn't know, but my dad said we wcould buy a horse after we refinance the house... and he said he was going to start it next week. Thanks!

It can take a few weeks to a few months. We're in the middle of refinancing, and so far it's taken about 4 weeks.

Two years ago it took about 2 months. It depends on what state you're in, and how all the paperwork goes.
