Yep! I think it's just their headbone and nothing to worry about. I fiddle around with Logan's all the time.

Mine all do, they are dachsunds, so I always thought it was because they are hounds. Joann

Nacey has a bump where the dark spot is between her eyes.

Charlie has one too.

Neither Bitsy, Buster, nor Nova have a bump. Buster has a soft spot on the top of head though, most chihuahuas do.

Max has a very pronounced one, and Oscar's is smaller. Like someone else said, I thought it was a hound thing.

Tito has a VERY big bump, while Bo and Bella have nothing there. I suppose it is down to bone structure.

It looks like you are pointing at the dogs occiput. I think I spelt that right. Anyways all doggies have it but some are quite a bit more pronounced. My golden has a huge one lmao! My nieces used to ask if he got hit on the head.

my 9 month old mixed breed (we think lab mix) always had a round head and then today we noticed a bump on the top of her head right between her ears, It looks like the bumps in all the pictures in this thread. my wife and I are very observant and neither of noticed this before. anybody ever heard of smart bumps developing? we are taking her to the vet just to make sure it isn't something else.
thanks
