Girl, 12, proves toilet water cleaner than ice

A Florida schoolgirl won top prize with a science project proving toilet water is cleaner than ice in fast food restaurants.

Jasmine Roberts, 12, of New Tampa, tested her thoery in five local restaurants, reports Tampa Bay's 10 News.

"My hypothesis was that the fast food restaurants’ ice would contain more bacteria that the fast food restaurants’ toilet water," she said.

I always order my drinks with no ice - now the rest of you can join me!

When all else fails, order hot tea or coffee - at least you know the water's been boiled!

somewhere i read that as we might think the toilet to be the "dirtiest" place is not, and probably our own toothbrushes are more "dirty" than anything, i´ll try get that info...........

also it supposed that you need to have your toothbrush about i cant recall how many feet away from the toilet otherwise "poop" bacteria can be found on them .........yuck!! (airborne particles)

i myself dont like ice so i too ask my drink without it, lucky me!!

I keep my toothbrush in a travel holder in a drawer. I can see toilet water being cleaner because they have bacteria cleaner in the tank usually.
