Well, my little girl is now six. It doesn't seem that long ago when my then bf (now husband) brought home this loud, obnoxious kitten that someone has thrown out of their truck. He found her a month after my father had died and she brought so much joy where there had been only pain. She didn't allow me to stay in bed and wallow away in misery like I wanted to. Someone had to feed her, entertain her, change her litter, love her. :) She was and still is the naughtiest of kitties and I love her more than anything in this entire world.
As I have mentioned in another post on Thursday, I took Callie in to our vet for her routine checkup and some vaccinations. She was diagnosed as having a heart murmur and we are waiting for the last test to confirm whether it is her thyroid or, in fact, she has heart disease. I cannot bear the thought of losing my little girl. She's supposed to live to live a good long life and keep annoying me for several years to come. Please pray that everything will be okay! I don't care if I have to medicate her twice daily for the rest of her life as long as she still is still happy.
I took some pictures of her this morning and from a couple of weeks ago. Enjoy and believe me, she'll be getting some treats later!

This is from the other week when I was vacuuming. Both Shadow and Callie have the idea if "it can't see me up here, it can't get me."
Last but not least...the face that I fall in love with everyday. She's so sweet when she sleeps.
