Another dog?? Oh I hope, I hope...

Hubby and I have been talking, and we MIGHT be getting another dog. So I looked on Petfinder and found this guy:

I remember seeing him when we got Roscoe and I absolutely loved him, he's the sweetest guy. He's still up for adoption, maybe that's a sign...

I just don't know how Roscoe would be with another dog, since he's an alpha. Guess we'll have to let the two meet and see what happens :D

Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do. Roscoe usually does pretty well with other dogs. In fact, I remember that Damien was in the cage right beside Roscoe when we got him. I think it was meant to be!

We got Roscoe at the end of last spring/beginning of summer. I'm pretty sure it's the same dog, he has the same name, same shelter, and looks the exact same. In fact, he was the dog that I sort of wanted first, but hubby talked me into Roscoe (and I wouldn't trade him for ANYTHING!).

Holy cow he really reminds me of a dog I wanted to adopt 2 years ago! Mom said no because Buttons (RB) was too much work with his diabetes and incontinence to adopt another dog.

I hope it works out for you! This must be fate! Luka was at the humane society for months while I dropped hints to my parents. She had a few behavior problems, but nothing to keep her from being adopted. So we think that was fate too :)

I was going to say the same thing. Statistically large black dogs are the least likely to be adopted.

He seems like such a sweet dog, that's so sad that people would pass up a dog because of his color. Well not me! Hopefully all goes well :D

LOL I like the when! I've been thinking about names, and I don't think I'll keep that name. I really don't like it, and what I know of his personality so far tells me that the name doesn't fit. If and WHEN I do bring him home, I'll probably start a name thread ;)
