Ok first I want to say the pics look worse than what I can actually see! :p
But, here's my first attempt of grooming Alex myself. I don't think he's wonderful but tomorrow I'll finish him, but it took me 3 hours to get this done! The clippers I have STINK! Poor Alex couldn't stand it anymore and he was being such a good boy so I quit for the night. Anyways here are the pics of his first "show cut".

FYI I know I messed up on his butt, but I guess it's trial and error, the hair will grow back! :o

No worries, I wish I had pics of the first time I groomed my cocker myself! As you said, it grows back. :)

AWWWW! :) What a cutie! No matter what you do, remember the hair always grows back (and too fast I might add!) I have never attempted any fancy clips, although in years past did do bracelets on my two toys. I groomed Bella on Thursday and have started some bracelets on her, but they need to be a little longer (and evener...is that a word?) before I share any pics! :p I have to smile at Alex because I noticed his tail is down. Ripley's tail is never down except when he is either in the tub or on the grooming table! :D

Awww crap, what happened? lol, anyway, that looks like a real nice poodle you have there!
Uhhh...that was kinda rude and there are young people on here..I don' think you should be talking like that...

Anways I think you did good for a first try lol. You should see poor Thunder my mum tried shaving him...Lets just say his name is now Choppy :rolleyes: lol
