Ok, you know how you can make pictures black and white, but then like certain areas stil have color? Anybody have *any* clue on how to do that? I really wanna try it. Oh, and I have PSP10...

I use PSP7, so I know you can do it with PSP ;)

What I do is I use the lasso tool and feather it by like 3 to 5 pixels (or less, just trial and error and what you think looks best).

COPY the selection(s), and leave the selection(s) there.

Go to colors > greyscale and greyscale the whole image

Then go to COLORS > Increase color depth > 16 million

Then go to EDIT > paste > into selection

Viola!

If it's easier for you, I can do a step-by-step and show you pictures with it?

Jess, WHY are you doing it the hard way!! lol

Here's an easier way, this is the way I do it:

Select around the area you want to remain in colour, and go to "Selections -> Invert" which will then select the area AROUND the piece you want to remain coloured.

Then go to "Adjust -> Hue And Saturation -> Colorize" and set both hue and saturation to 0.

I've done it that way before and haven't got the best results lol

Besides, I've done it that way for so long, I do it so fast and its just.. second nature by now. LOL
