The girls were great models today: Beauties posing in the sun! :)

Oh, isn't it just wonderful how natural light is bringing out all the beautiful colors in our kitties? :) The sun is shining today, and finally I was able to take new photos without using flash light - and my girls were happily posing for me, obviously the sunny weather makes them feeling relaxed and content... :)

And I just HAVE to share the photos I took, hope you like them.

I'm beginning with Luna. It's so easy to see in these pictures that her daddy was an orangie:

Doesn't she have just just most lovable, most kissable face? :D And I just love her warm colors and her fluffy fur! :)

Unfortunately, most of the time you have to use a flash when you have indoor cats, it doesn't happen very often that the light is bright enough...



Oh yeah, how is Luna feeling? Hope all is well and she's back to her old self again.....

It seems she's feeling better. I'm surprised how quickly she has recovered from all her horrible vet experiences lately. I thought she would be more traumatized - maybe the Bachflower rescue remedies helped her to deal with it...

LOL :) I was told that Luna's mommy has been dating an orangie before she got pregnant with Luna and her litter mates, so I guess he's the daddy... And Luna and three of her litter mates have lots of orange spots in their coat! :)

Luna's mommy was a tabby, and the 4 girls of the litter were tabbies, too; but three of them with red spots everywhere (Luna is one of them), and the only boy looked very special: black and orange; never saw something like that before. :)

The weather turned out to be really nice this past weekend in Toronto. Instead of winter, we seem to be enjoying a sneak peak at spring. As a result of these warmer temperatures, Nakita was able to 'sun' herself in our front porch area. You wouldn't believe the look of satisfaction on her face as she bathed in the sunny rays.

When I get a chance to resize my pics, I'll start a thread of Nakita's sunbathing session so we can compare the looks of satisfaction on their faces. ;)

No, he's just light tan with some dark tabby stripes. His face and eyes look identical though to Luna's. Boy, I thought I was looking at Sash in some of those pictures! :D

I know what you mean. I often had that thought when I was looking at photos of Scanty Nebula's Toby. It was not so much the colors or the markings (he's an orangie), but the same expression on his face - amazing! :)

Exactly, this is why I love kitties-in-the-sun-pictures, too! :) Also, the fur is always looking so soft and fluffy. :)
