Jazzcat asked for some pictures of winter from Anchorage, Alaska in this (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=82223) thread. So, here they are for your enjoyment.

And, to make this pet related, :p here's Pepper being "helpful" as usual. When I opened the window to take photos (because it's too darn cold to go outside!), Pepper leaped to the top of the second-story window and attempted yet another of her death-defying acts of balance. Since I already had the camera in my hands, I quickly snapped the picture then ran for a ladder to pull her down. She's now sulking and pouting since I ruined her fun and I'm looking for bandaids.

Lovely, lovely.

And Pepper was just HELPING! You had been wanting to know if that ledge was capable of holding a curious cat's weight, right?

Sure, go right ahead. You might find some better pictures in my Webshots album: http://community.webshots.com/user/kuhio98 In the album named "Alaskana" is a great photo of Denali (Mt. McKinley) that you might like. There are some moose, autumn scenes, muskox, and a photo of me with the 100-pound halibut I caught (I'm the one that weighs considerably more than 100 pounds) :p There is also a photo of Bobcat and his 150-pounder he caught.
