well i am going to beg my dad to get a puppy. ;) in march we are selling ALOT of our animals. we are only keeping 1 rabbit out of 11. and we are selling our cockatiels, and lots of ducks, some chickens, and jack will go to his real home. we are getting a horse, maybe a couple. so it will be less animals to feed and take care of.
what kind of puppy do you think would be good for us? My dad lives on a hobby farm, this dog can't have much of a prey drive because of the poultry and i have a cat. my dad leaves for work at 7:30 and comes home at 4:30. he works every other weekend from 12:00 noon until 11:30 pm. dominent dogs are ok. he wants a small dog. under 20 pounds.
i was thinking rat terrier or a dachshund. we've had two mini doxies before. what do you think?
