Two beautiful male Golden Retrievers. Aslan and Eddy are their names. Aslan is 6 years old and Eddy is 3 years old. I have been looking for a Golden for a long time but haven't been able to find the perfect ones. And I think these are them. They need to be adopted together, they're step brothers. But I was planning on getting 1 puppy? But these ones are so great... they're playful and loving... urg, such a hard choice... should I go for it?

I would adopt them. :) There's always time in life for a puppy some other time. If you feel the click with them, go for it!

I would take it as a sign so it would definatly be a yes, Think about it if you can take them both on together then they wouldnt have to go through the heartbreak of being split up, Golden retrievers are beautiful dogs!

Good luck and keep us posted :D

I don't know... I can't decide if I want 2 or not, it's twice the work but I feel like... they're the ones... you know?

Twice the work.. hm, well, I have two dogs.. just recently got the second. And it's really not all that much work! And this is a PUPPY.. so I can't imagine it will be too hard with two older Goldens! :)

Twice the love, twice the fun. ;)

Yeah, definatly go for it. I had molli and then got Sammy when Molli was still kind of a puppy. The most work was just trying to get them to get along... and those goldens already do get along, and they are not puppies. It would be alot harder for two adult dogs to get a home then one puppy, I would want to save the adult goldens!

Do you have any pictures? :)

If you can feed two dogs and handle the vet bills for two dogs then you should go for it. They are older (even though 3 is still a big pup) and get along well. One keeps the other company and I wished I would have had that chance 3 years ago with my chocolate Lab Ben. I think you have an ideal situation and goldens are lovely, just like labs tee hee hee

Absolutely go for it! Sometimes 2 dogs are LESS work than one - they'll keep each other busy!

After about an hour of talking to the owner they are living with right now... she said she'd get them neautered and then call, I'll have some info and hopefully the dogs and some pictures tommorow or in a couple days!

If I could, I'd have 3 or 4! Go for it! They're an awesome breed (everyone raise your hands) and right, keep each other company. If there's nothing holding you back, God Bless you. You'll "know" immediately if they're right for you. Good luck and keep us posted.
