I took this at about 2 this afternoon in my backyard.

The mountain is called Grey Mountain. I love the way the cloud looked over top of the mountain. It was actually hard to tell where the mountain stopped and the clouds took over!

Sunset is just before 5pm. It's back up around 10am.

Woah, I thought it would set earlier than that :o. We only have 1hr 45mins more day light then you do. Although your not *too* north i guess.

interesting about the sun rise/set.

Our current sunset is almost the same time (just a little after 5pm) the difference arrives with sun rise ..... 10am? :eek: ours is about 7:20 AM right now.

We gain several minutes of light a day starting December 22. We've already gained at least 90 minutes back from what it was like in early December. It rarely gets super bright here though as the sun doesn't get that high up. I haven't needed sunglasses since October! You have to go a ways farther north to get the complete 24 hours of dark.
