Macy got a bath today, she was starting to shed a lot and she was a bit stinky... her long fur gets tangled alot too.. she wasn't very happy with me as you can see...

once I put her in the tub she'll just sit there till I take her out.. she's the best kitty... when I took her out I dried her off and then used a warm towel from the dryer and wrapped her up like a baby.... I held her for about an hour and she purred her little head off.. after that I brushed her in front of an electric space heater and she just sat there purring away. Macy is a very good girl and now she smells A LOT better, her fur is softer and she's not shedding like crazy!

Not my Aby but Faramir belongs a friend in Switzerland named Helena. He loves to play in the bathtub and will jump in when she's taking a bath!

ah for my wet cats, I just had four bathed two nights ago because they somehow got into oil bucket.. :eek: :rolleyes: - most of my cats would just wait and whine, aw poor them. I didn't take any pictures but one of my cat (zephyra, my heartcat in avator) in here old thread, they are old (http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=19795&highlight=wet) but she would look as same as two nights ago and few more fun wet kitties to see!

That's what I always thought about Tubby too, until it really became necessary to give him a bath. He had this spot on his back and the only way to clean it was to give him a bath on a regular basis. Amazingly he took it very well. Of course, he would have climbed out of the tub in a heartbeat had I let him, but he didn't put up near as much fuss as I thought. I think a lot of people would be surprised. CJ on the other hand.....well....we'll wait until he's old like Tubby was before I attempt it. ;) :D I do have pictures, but I'd have to find them and upload them. Maybe later when I get a little time. I just remember Tubby's tail looked like a rat tail - eeewww...! :D

The only wet cat you will see at my house is Abner....and that's only because he was outside in the rain...of course he does not have an enclosure at the new house yet so he has been suffering from lack of rain water. ;)

No wet Pics of Skye, but she has had about....*counts*...3 baths. She didnt like it, and my hand got majorly scratched, so NO MORE BATHS for Skye!

whenever seafa get s her paws wet, by sittign in ehr water bowl, (she did that when we were travelling) she does this little dance to try and shake the water off. no pics, but she was out in the rain today with ehr kitty harness on !!

Believe me she wasn't happy about the bath but she needed it she was very ill from Coccida and didn't have another kitty help her keep up. So a bath was all we could do. Poor little Meezer :(
