BIG PARTY ... compliments of Aunt Laura!!!

Today was the unveiling of all the wonderful toys and catnip and FUN BOXES that Aunt Laura made my babies! You've never seen so much fun in one room in your life!!! It was a blast! I took over 100 pictures, but will try to share somewhat less than that here! :p

Tabitha had a wonderful time, and before I could stop her, she found the bag and helped herself to the remainder of the nip! She literally dove in HEAD FIRST and I had a tough time pulling her out!!!! :eek: :D

Of course there were a few altercations along the way, but for the most part there was plenty for everyone to enjoy ... so not too much fighting! ;)

Thats one of the funniest Photos that I have seen lately All Those Ctas really enjoying the Toys that thier Aunt Laura sent them.
Now Im really ticked that the Post Office lost all those Big Mice taht I sent.
They are having a Great Time,and its Fun to see all the Shapes and Sizes of Cats.

OH MY GOSH!!

That first picture was all it took and I was rolling! It screams PARTY!!!

Look at all those kitties in one place, checking it all out! And Tabitha head first in the bag of "marinating" toys is far, far to funny. I don't know when I have ever seen so may happyy kitties in one place, having such a good time. The whole thread had me laughing my butt off and yelling "OMG! Look at that!!!" They all seem to know exactly what they were doing and which toy they wanted.... or did that really matter with that X-strenght catnip that I was lucky enough to find.. That catnip is the next best thing to the Canadian stuff that Gary sends... I am THRILLED to see they all had a blast with the toys and enjoyed the "nip"..

I constantly roatate my babies toys into a bag of that nip so that they get that treat often... Shove all those toys into those activity boxes and watch them have a ball geting them out. All I have to do is shake that box and mine come running and start digging into the holes to pull the stuff out and it is hours of entertainment for them and for us!!

The picture say it all Kim! They loved their toys and had a great time.. Thanks so much for letting me share in their fun!!!

You posted a picture of a iddy biddy Tabitha when she was a baby with a black mouse and in it she looks JUST like this! That picture came to my mind soon as this picture came up.. I still have it somewhere I think but to many CD's to look through to find it.. You know the one I am talking about Kim? Looks exactly like this one only she was a wee tiney thing with a black mouse in her paws.. (Our baby girl is still in her from the looks of this picture)

What a wonderful, happy, crowd-pleasing time they had!! Wow, that's better than Christmas!!!

M&I Mommy, yes, I made those. They are boxes that our 5# of catfish come in on the boat, they are cardboard boxes, good and solid. Cut the holes in them, the long one on top and round ones on the side. I use spray glue to get the fabric to stick to it. Mine have that one that I have posted that Amy has about shredded and as I said, all I have to do is shake it and they come running. The holes on the side are just big enough that they can get a paw into it to grab for toys.. It is a cheap thing to make and hours of fun! After they pull all they toys out, I shove them back in and they start all over again.

My sisters cats love theirs too and for some reason, her cats sit on the box and use it for scratching too..

I also made that red and yellow thing too.. Scraps of fleece stacked on each other, strips sewn together in the middle,then cut like fringe and sewn together on the end to form a ball. Marinate in catnip and another toy made out of something you would end up throwing away..

I KNOW, that's exactly how it went too. They were all so relaxed by the end of the party! It was so fun watching them, Laura! Thank you so much for all of the wonderful goodies!!!
