I was just taking Valentine's pictures and noticed Ki's muzzle/nose is very strange looking. It doesn't look as bad as it does in the picture, I guess the flash just pronounced it. It doesn't seem to bother her either, no vomitting, normal stools, normal eatting/drinking. I don't seen any sores/bites of anykind.

I've attached a picture.. isn't that weird? I'm certainly going to be watching her closely.

Looks like she stuck it where it didn't belong ! No just a joke It does look like she bumped or skinned it on something.

Looks like a bump or allergy or bug bite. Glad she's not feeling affected by it & I hope it goes away soon.

It looks like an allergic reaction to something. I wouldn't worry unless if she starts having the symptoms you mentioned.

That kind of looks like the sore that Katie had on her nose. The vet said Katie's was a bug/spider bite or a bee sting. Hopefully little Kiki's nose will heal up real soon.

Hope it turns out okay and she's good to go for the upcoming birthday bash.

Is the area swollen? It does look like a patterned imprint of some
kind.I hope it's nothing serious.

Max had something that looked like that quite often. Its a bacteria infection, that can open up into pimple like sores.. I had to wash his muzzle with soapy water every day until it cleared.. He started to get dry skn around the same time.. I bathed him every 2ed week & scrubbed his muzzle during bathes. I did that for YEARS & he never got those sores ever again.

Rocky the Rotti had the same issues, so we bathed him with Max & his went away too.

But the vet still knows best.

Thanks everyone for your concern. She looks completely normal today. Weird, huh? She must have got into/stung by something that bothered her.
