If not, you should try them!!! They
are SO good! The leader for girl scouts
made them last night...so I thought
I'd share the recipe. :)

MAGIC COOKIE BARS (SEVEN LAYER
COOKIES)

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs (about 24 squares)
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts are best)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In 9x13 inch baking pan, melt butter. Sprinkle crumbs over butter; pour condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Top evenly with remaining ingredients. Press down firmly. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 2 x 1 1/2 inch squares. Makes 3 dozen.

yummy! I used to make them every year at Christmas. Now I just hope someone at work or a relative makes them so I get a few. ;)

My Mom used to make them ALL the time -- she would different things on them like M&M's or other chocolate candies. Yum! :)

I make those every year at Christmas...although I prefer Pecans to the walnuts! I also use a different order...butter crackers, nuts, chips, coconut, milk.

Funny story.. I made them on a boat I was on... A deckhand ate one and asked if I had that recipe.. He proceeded to tell me that his sister in law made them every Christmas and he LOVED then and had begged and begged for that recipe for many years. She refused to give it to him, telling him he would get them only at Christmas. He copied my recipe so he could make them whenever he wanted to and I suggested that the next Christmas, HE make them to take and laugh at her.
